In Florida, lawyers who work on injury cases, including brain injury cases, work on what's known as a contingency fee. What that means is that the attorney's fee is a percentage of the total recovery that the client achieves. So the answer is very difficult. If a client unfortunately makes no financial recovery, there is no fee. He has no fee, no cost, no nothing. On the other hand, if there's a successful result in the case, the fee is a percentage of that result.
